The Story of a Photographer

I started my journey into photography to capture heirloom images of the people I love most. I wanted to create pieces of art to cherish and pass down throughout the years. I soon realized I had a passion for storytelling through the lens. I opened Amber Sage Photography, and here we are, five years later. Sessions with me will always be laid-back and fun. I love getting to know each and every family that I work with. I strive to serve and support all of my clients any way that I can. With me you're not just getting a photographer, but a new pal who will frolic through fields with you, build you up, and laugh and cry right along side you.

My husband Jesse and I have been married since 2009. We have two amazing children together. If you hang around long enough you'll see a lot of them. They're my reluctant models. As a family we love music, playing board games, all things "nerdy", and the outdoors. The kids and I aren't very good outdoors-men, we complain about dirt, weather, and wildlife a lot, but we love it all the same. I split my days between being a home-school mom and a photographer. This can make life hectic, but beautiful. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
